Join Pitchfork Pickle and some of their fermenty friends this Saturday March 25 from 11-4 at The Soda Plant for a celebration of just how much is and can be fermented in Vermont. In addition to a fermented farmers market vibe, there will be:
* Talks by vendors about how fermentation applies to their worlds
* A starter swap- bring your SCOBYs, mothers, grains, bugs and starters to trade with others for those home projects!
* Music by the Dirty Forks - Just like the tangy brine on the tines of their namesake, the Dirty Forks are an all spice blend of salty umami, bluegrass twang, aromatic harmony, and crisp cucurbit crunch
* Ferment zines by Georgi de Rham
* Drinks and snacks at Venetian Soda Lounge
* Bites from All Souls Tortilleria, a smoothie collab between TomGirl and Butterworks Farm, and our favourite Alkame and Miss Weinerz doughnut collab (did we mention that we love a good collaboration?)!
