In her first solo exhibition with Soapbox Arts, Barre-based artist, Athena Petra Tasiopoulos explores themes of interconnectedness, isolation, and the delicate nature of equilibrium through mixed media encaustic collages. Repetitive patterns, muted palettes, and primitive marks made by carving and scraping into the encaustic wax surface speak to the imperfections of the human hand and vulnerability of materiality.
