A solo exhibition of original works by @corrine_yonce, “home in what remains,” opens Friday, 2/19!

In her first solo exhibition with Soapbox Arts, Burlington-based artist, Corrine Yonce, explores her relationship to her home space and how that confirms or denies traditions of the feminine domestic. Original mixed media paintings and drawings prominently feature larger-than-life female figures lounging, laying, and leaning on one another in domestic interiors. Inviting us to experience these intimate spaces through the first-person, compositions frequently warp into the "I" perspective. An ambitious attempt to re-materialize and unpack personal histories, "home in what remains," is on view through April 3rd at Soapbox Arts.
