Highlight continues this new tradition with our superfriend, Vermont singer, songwriter, guitarist, and music lover, Brett Hughes. Here’s how it works: Brett dives in deep to uncover some of the most happening bluegrass and honky-tonk players, pickers, pluckers, and singers from across the state. He then brings these folks into the Soda Plant (Brio Coffeeworks’ space to be exact) on NYE for a 6-hr+ jam! It’s a once-a-year, one-of-kind happening that you truly don’t want to miss. This year, Brett is joined by local Americana rippers Old Sky (Andrew Stearns and Shay Gestal), Cajun and western swing outfit Big Night, Pat Melvin, Brett Lanier, Sean Preece, Matt Flinner, Caleb Elder, and a bunch of other super special guests.

–> This Yappy Hour event, presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka, the vodka for dog people, features a custom menu of specialty cocktails that raises funds for the Humane Society of Chittenden County.
